Yule Yolks

Cracked open a double yolker while prepping scrambled eggs this morning, the rest of the day was all uphill from there. Rounded up the last drips of Christmas shopping/wrapping with Rebecca and we even exchanged presents. I got a board game and a neat little book about films - both look great on their respective shelves. Originally we planned to head out and meet a friend this evening but those plans fell through so we wrapped up indoors and watched A Christmas Story, its been many years since I last saw it but its power still resonates. There is just so much truth and humanity in this little comedy, it charms the pants off me on every watch and it comfortably makes its way somewhere in my personal top 5 Christmas films.
