Totally zonked this morning - though I woke up fairly early, I closed my eyes again for just a moment and the next thing I knew it was 9:45. Thankfully, there wasn't an awful lot to do today, a weekly shop and some Spring cleaning was all that was mandated. In the evening a friend and his new German girlfriend came to visit, she's 100% vegan so we sourced a vegan burger place and tucked into plant based chicken burgers which was as good at the real thing. Best part was while sitting in the garden we noticed some of the hot air balloons from Balloon Fest going by. Our scaffolding was still in place too so we got to see them from our unsightly vantage point (nice way to get my money's worth too).
