Chasing the Sun

Popped back to Newbury this weekend mostly to see Granny Sue. A recent health diagnosis has meant the wind has been taken out of her sails significantly. Thankfully when we arrived she seemed in high spirits, a roast pork lunch too boosted everyone's mood - especially the crackling! We sat around in the garden for the whole day, inching into Sun-lit patches of grass as the Sun set behind the house. We left there on an optimistic note, promising that if Covid settles down we'd try and host Granny Sue in Bristol - fingers crossed we'll get that opportunity.
