For all intents and purposes, today was a rest day. Rebecca took the train up to London to see her Nan, road closures meant that was the most sensible way to get there. Meanwhile I stayed at home and crossed a mini milestone from the comfort of my sofa: 100 movies watched this year. I've got no massive intention of slowing down either, but it's still nice to see that little number tick over. The two flicks were worlds apart too. News From Home is an avant garde slow cinema joint from the 70's and Kneecap was a raucous, drug fueled Irish piece from last year. Now I just gotta get some sleep in me before the week starts anew. Feels weird starting Monday without Rebecca, the cat is certainly missing her...
