Interrailling Day 5 - Old Town and Cobblestones

Braved the drizzle to experience the rest Prague has to offer. We walked along the cobbled streets into the Old Town where we snuck into a Synagogue while pretending to be part of a school tour. We hit up a pretty tasty bakery and marvelled at the beautiful houses as we approached the main square.

The rain picked up a bit but that didn't deter us from crossing the Charles Bridge as we headed up to Prague Castle. This area was apparently where all the tourists flock to and after seeing the Castle's cathedral it was easy to understand why. It housed some of the most impressive stained glass windows I'd ever seen, each one in a new colour scheme and designed by a different artist.

Restless and soggy we headed back into town, stopping only at Prague's Beer Museum so we could partake in some moderately priced booze. Even Rebecca jumped in on the chance to drink some great beer. While our stay in Prague was brief, I'll look back on the beer and the Old Town fondly.
