Animal Crossing really is a mandatory introvert's best friend. I went fishing, caught bugs and hung out with quirky animal villagers all from the comfort of my own home. Its offered a sense of warmth and routine which is remarkably comforting during these odd times, I knew I would enjoy this game but who could have dreamed it would have released at a better time? I've read online that the game is having exactly the same effect on people around the world while offering a great incentive to stay indoors - if you ever needed a case study for the social and psychological good video games are capable of then this would be a contender!
Rebecca felt the need to go out and stretch her legs after working from home all week so we agreed to go out to Blaise Castle just to breathe in a bit of the air. Naturally we kept our distance from the other punters, we came home feeling like dogs that had just been on a good walk. Thankfully we have a lovely park on our doorstep for future excursions.
