Video Calls Aplenty

Had a family first today, a Mother Day video call! Louis and I beamed into Mum's phone to wish her well. It was real nice to talk like that too, obviously it's no replacement for face-to-face socialising, but in this climate I'll take it! In fact, that was one of two video calls I did today as Rebecca dialed in to chat with her old housemates who live in London. Before the virus stuff all kicked off they had planned to come stay with us next weekend but we've had to postpone it for obvious reasons. Was good to catch up with them too though, interesting to hear a Londoner's perspective on things too. We signed off promising them a BBQ sometime in the Summer when everything has hopefully blown over, hope and warm promises of better times really does help put anxious minds at ease and they sounded delighted at that offer.
