The say if it rains on St Swithuns day it'll rain for the next 40 days. I'm certainly hoping that isn't true because it chucked and chucked it down on us. I wouldn't have minded too much usually but since we did some stuff with a drone the weather grounded us until it all cleared up. And instead the rain got worse! I felt like a right melon putting on my waterproof trousers and wellington boots, but now I think I'm the only crew member with dry feet.
So we started a bit on the backfoot but we got back on track. I'm writing this now as we wait for sunrise at 5am-ish so we can shoot that before going back to my hotel for a very, very well earned rest.
