Fleeting Spring

Managed to play video games in my hotel room this morning without completely losing track of time. Driving in was leisurely too because the sun was shining, so much so that a lot of the crew were stripping off all their winter coats. Of course, they all went back on again the second the sun went in but it was a fleeting glimpse of Spring. After dinner the day really felt like it was dragging along. I kept thinking it was Thursday but we're not even halfway through this week. I told Rebecca I'm missing her, and I never thought I'd say this, but I'm also missing the cat sleeping on the bed with us. I'll be eating my words soon enough, but the idealisized image of my bed is what I'm longing for the most.
