I low-key mentioned to my Script Supervisor boss that my next gig wouldn't be within the same department as it's looking like I'm going back to Production. I didn't want it to come across like a slap in the face considering all the mentoring I've been doing with her, but thankfully it actually made her double down on the training. She stepped me up to supervise the whole of the afternoon today (while she stood by as a safety net) and it all went pretty well! I'm a little sad to be closing the door on Script Supervising, but this move back is the right thing to do at the present time. After such a feel good day I walked out to my car to drive back to Bristol and my laptop slid out my bag. Now it won't recognize there's a battery connected to it so it doesn't power on anymore. Into each life some rain must fall.
