I wrapped up my farewell gift to my boss early this morning, ready to pass it onto them as a way of saying thanks for them taking me under their wing for our third block. She taught me so much about the job over the last few months and I'm so very grateful to have spent some time alongside her and supporting her. The working day itself finished three hours ahead of time so we were all laughing, it gave me a little more prep time on my short film which I'll bre cracking in with tomorrow.
What wasn't on my bingo sheet for this year was another person stepped forward to express an interest in Script Supervising and start shadowing us: one of the stand ins for our main cast members! I was only too happy to continue spreading the love, but it all just came as a pleasant surprise - no doubt we'll see them again by our monitors, learning the tricks of the trade.
