I realised only now that all I did today was read subtitles. With Rebecca out of town this weekend I decided to have a little movie blow out today. I hand picked three pieces of Asian Cinema that have been gathering dust on my watchlist for a while and now was the perfect time to give them a shot. What I didn't expect was to watch what will no doubt be some of the best films I'll see all year. Supermarket Woman, Yi Yi and Fallen Angels were on the agenda and now of them disappointed.
I realized I don't think I've ever linked my Letterboxd here before but I'll include it here today because I'm now in the habit of writing up short reviews for each film over on that platform. I also just hit 1,700 films watched after today - already hungry for more though.
