Though I've been out of the Production world for about a year, a bunch of old vendors still remember my name. I was chatting to a regular car supplier and a man with a van, both of which greeted me as if we were old friends. That's one of the unspoken best things about this industry, you meet a lot of people and touch a lot of lives. Everyone knows we're passing ships but it's lovely when we get to wave to each other off the stern if we cross routes once again. They're helping me inch the needle that is my job list right now, while I didn't strike much off everything is getting closer to being resolved... Just in time for more big jobs to land our way.
