Ah, how subtly the Sunday blues manifest. You wake up feeling invincible, you have a whole day to seize and it's only just begun! Breakfast and coffee, lunch and a walk to town, dinner and an evening activity. All daily milestones that chip away at the weekend morale, the day slipping through your fingers until before you know it, you're back in bed. Remembering how hopeful you were at sunrise. It's not that I'm even rolling my eyes at the thought of another week of work, Sunday evenings are a near-death experience. "If only I had done this instead to make the most of my time off". We only really receive that clarity once that part of ourselves is about to slip away. Time to make a new promise to ourselves, one we start with the best of intentions but inexplicably lose interest in. That's the curse of Sunday Night.
