A truth as old as time is that we all eventually turn into our parents.
Growing up, Louis and I would frequently have to do a run to a corner shop after Mum planned to make a midweek dinner (let's say carbonara for the sake of this example), only to realise she forgot to buy the spaghetti.
And the eggs.
And the bacon.
Well today I did the meal planning and the big shop and only had to go back to the supermarket twice to get the ingredients I flat out forgot I needed for it. Time and genetics catch up to us all.
