Slowly packed up our bags, presents and Christmas treats ready to hit the short road to Newbury. Mum was excited to see Louis and me, the dream of a 'normal' Christmas is slowly coming into focus. It wasn't until I sat next to our tree and cracked a walnut that I begun to notice the season's glow start to creep up on me. I think there's a strange air to the holiday this year, as if we''ve all kinda forgotten how to do Christmas, but like riding a bike, it'll all come back to us. Sat by the tree, looking at the familiar decorations, it felt like no time had passed at all.
