Had an almost carbon copy Boxing Day from last year. We went down to Orpington to visit Grandma followed by calling in on my Uncle and Auntie for lunch. This time though we did see one of our cousins whom we haven't seen since before COVID which was a nice treat. We caught up, drank some IPAs and talked about travel and TV, before we knew it the sun was setting and we had to get back home.
I committed myself to finally making a 'granny square' with my crochet hook. I sat down, cleared my head and got to it. I didn't make any noticable mistakes during the process and ended up with a little swatch! Little confidence boost - just keep trying and you can do it.
