We waited most of the day in London to hopefully get Rebecca's car fixed, when the guy finally landed he took a look round and announced there was good and bad news. It boiled down to it being a different problem than expected so the repair would have to be tomorrow instead which put a small spanner in our travel plans. Luckily Rebecca's parents were willing to share their second car and we got Rebecca onto the insurance. All that drama was unfolding as I gave kitchen master class to both of Rebecca's parents - Dad got the coffee one and Mum got the Cottage Pie one. We left London with happy tummies at least.
Back in Bristol we were reunited with the cat who had clearly missed us very much. I hopped online to play games with a group of friends, I think in the new year I'd like to try and make the effort to hangout with more people and come out of my hermit cave in the evenings. Dan just moved into Bristol after all and we're long overdue some time together.
