Famous Faces and Other Games

For the last time this Christmas I returned to Newbury for a one-off day to spend a bit of time with Mum's side of the family. Its the biannual get together where I see several members of my extended family and eat a buffet lunch which comprised of Dad's great coronation chicken and some petite cheeses, although if you ask some folks I apparently cut the brie totally wrong. Nevertheless we all had a good time playing a smattering of party games like name game, catch phrases and the infamous favourite: famous faces. The turnout was a bit smaller this year round, but as a result the event didn't feel cramped, nor did the games feel bloated with players. It turned out to be a really good mix this year and spirits were notably higher all round.
