I kinda forgot chocolate eggs are a big part of Easter, I'm mostly jazzed about the hot cross buns these days and the cheese and Marmite ones likely won't make it to 2023's breakfast table. An Easter walk is customary so we did o e first thing around a nearby estate and canal, spotting plenty of sheep (and tiny lambs) as we walked. Garden furniture was unpacked and we'll used once we got home, a light lunch of cold turkey meat and Summer pudding filled us up... Until we all remembered there was chocolate to be eaten.
We tried out the board game Mordern Art too with a full table if 5 players. Though I wrapped my head around the rules, explaining the clever conceit of the game proved tricky to start with, though Rachel got it immediately and stormed ahead with points. Not enough to pip Louis though, figures he'd thrive in a game about art.
