Can't remember the last time it rained this much, only in Bournemouth I guess. We passed the time by visiting Highcliffe Castle, admission seemed very reasonable at first, only £2.50 a head, then we realised that the visiting areas were very limited. While I enjoyed looking at 4 rooms, I do wish I could have seen a little more...
Games of Rummikub and Mario Kart made up most the afternoon until we dashed to make a dinner reservation at a favourite Italian restaurant. My nose got a little bunged up just before heading out, I've had a very mild cold for what feels like 2 weeks now, just hoping it doesn't turn into anything too nasty.
