Met the weekend staff for the first time, there's a nice young lad called Gabe who complimented the way I worked the til and chatted to customers - just met the guy too so his praise meant an awful lot to me.
I kept getting pictures from Rebecca during my shift as she showed off all the different animals she saw at the zoo. Little bit jealous she saw my spirit animal (a tapir) in person. I regrouped with her and her folks in the evening for a few drinks and a nice meal. I did the responsible thing and only had two small drinks early in the evening since I knew I'd be working early again tomorrow.
