Got in line for my Covid vaccine today, its an unoriginal statement now but it really was like a military operation in terms of how well it was run. Headed straight to work afterwards fully expecting to get zonked by the side effects but nothing really materialized. Head felt a mite stuffy, but I think that's just my hay fever rearing it's ugly head again.
Rebecca got her jab too today so we planned to get a takeaway to celebrate (also in case we both felt too maff to cook that night). We waited an hour and forty five minutes for a dinner that never came. A stroppy phonecall later netted us a full refund and a hearty amount of in-app credit but it wasn't enough to fully save the mood. Thankfully, my happy-go-lucky side kicked in and cajoled Rebecca into enjoying an oven cooked fish and chip dinner - it's like takeaway... 'Cept it ain't!
