Double Let Down

Got two bits of moderately disappointing news, firstly my new manager at work is going to be transferred to another shop outside of Bristol in 2 weeks time. Not only was he a good manager who helped bring the shop and the staff together, he was a total bro. I've been meaning to invite him to the pub sometime out of work hours just so we could have a good chin wag, looks like I'll have to invite him out sooner rather than later. After that Rebecca and I found out the guests we were expecting this evening had to cancel on us last minute which was a shame. We were both really ready to spend some quality time with them, plus we already brought all the ingredients to cook them dinner! All the more for us I guess.
