Turns out, we forgot a teeny, tiny bit of gift buying so we high-tailed it to the high street for a final, final sweep. As is customary, we have arrived back in Newbury on the 23rd ready for a Christmas break with the family. No doubt we'll be put to work prepping food and decorating the house, but that's become part of the tradition now too so I don't mind it so much. We're officially in the big run up to Christmas Day now, barely 24 hours away.
