Carols Abound

Bid farewell to Rebecca this morning as she drove home to spend the holidays with her folks in London. I cracked on with a lil bit of work before heading out to the other side of Bristol to what I though would be a simple night of carol singing. Little did I know, I actually signed up to head to a church to sing in The Festive Nine Lessons and Carols. You know what though, I had a jolly good time. It was a very small congregation, less than 30 people, but afterwards everyone got together in the vestry for mince pies and mulled wine and it felt nice to be part of a Christmas tradition with a group of friendly strangers.
