Foaming Milk

Did battle with the Saturday crowd, making coffee and grilling sandwiches for a swarm of unrelenting and insatiable people. We are busy on Saturdays and I sometimes take a step back and sometimes wonder just how many people there are on this Earth, and how the hell do we manage to cram them all onto our 20 tables? For hours I nestled my head deep into the land of swirling, foaming milk, when I raised my gaze it was already home time.

Rebecca cooked a gnocchi and sausage bake which made the day all seem worth it (the thought of food often pushes me through the wars). Got one more early shift to finish tomorrow and then I can rest and write all day Monday - cannot wait for that.
