Our wheelie bins barely moved when we checked them this morning - guess Bristol missed most of the storm. I only had to brave it briefly to pick up some bit for dinner and thankfully I didn't get blown down the hill. While staying in doors though I wanted to watch a film. I noticed I only needed to see one more of Rodger Ebert's 'Greay Movies' until I'd seen exactly half of his extensive list, so The Wild Bunch was the lucky movie. Boy oh boy, do I not gel with Sam Peckinpah. I was just very bored watching it, even the big shootout scenes failed to impress. Beat by beat, I wasn't given a reason to hold these characters close to my heart, nor did I fully grasp their motivations.
