I was walking through the rain with a cake box full of takeaway pastries before the sun started rising. A big meeting with plenty of execs was happening today and we all wanted to put our best foot forward, good grub is a shortcut to the hearts of many and a slap up lunch put everyone in a great mood. I poured coffee and made smalltalk with the big wigs, all of whom were very friendly. It all went off without a hitch, our team were really stressing about today but now it's all over we can hardly remember what were were worried about.
