Can now say I've been to one too many miserable village arts and crafts shops on this holiday. Leaving the boat this morning to see the local sights and to take advantage of the 'on shore facilities' we dropped into a farm shop and a gaggle of 16 craft shops, each one more dire than the last. Glad to say we jetted away pretty quick and we're well on track to get back on time.
Drove the boat for a fair while upstream, jamming along to Joni Mitchell's Hejira, probably enjoying it a little too much because I bumped the boat an awful lot. All part of the fun I say.
