Got ourselves all nestled into our canal boat, can't believe the last family holiday we did in a narrow boat was in 2005. Feels like only a few Summers ago, mostly because I still remember everything about how to use the boat and how to open locks. Feels like a real homecoming of sorts and I'm super happy to share the experience with Rebecca.
We've done our fair share of locks already today, around 15 or so. It became a tight military operation pretty quickly and since we evenly divvied up the roles I even got to drive the boat for a spell. Did a pretty good job too, looking forward to going further downstream and enjoying the slow pace of life.
