For the first time in yonks, I found myself with a Saturday and a Sunday off. This opportunity shall not go to waste! Yesterday I mentioned grabbing some bakery bread, I'm happy to report that it totally elevated our breakfast for good to great. Had a bit of chipl time after eating before Rebecca and I headed out to meet up with on of her more elusive uni friends who was in Bristol for the afternoon. We took her and her boyfriend up along the familiar route up Park Street to the Suspension Bridge via Pinkman's Bakery. Its a route that's done us well over the years with guests and it continued to impress this time round too.
So we did a lot of walking today, but that's alright because this evening all we had to do was go out and visit another friend who cooked us dinner, made pudding and showed us the Jumanji reboot that was a lot of fun. Yessir, this Saturday was jam-packed with social calls, tomorrow though is gonna be all about pyjamas and slow vibes.
