Somehow dodged having to do two lunch runs and I've never been more chuffed. Our other Runner happened to be up by Pinkman's Bakery around lunchtime so we all put orders in for sourdoughnuts. Seconds after he paid, the other Runner came into the office brandishing Krispy Kreme doughnuts... I've never seen an office groan so loudly at the arrival of expensive doughnuts. Felt so guilty.
Our big fancy Production Meeting was meant to be in full swing for Monday. We laid out the tables, bought the snacks and printed name placards. Then in classic fashion the folks upstairs wanted to schedule it for a different day. Mood in the office was predictably a bit stale thanks to that unpopular decision. But the Friday spirit couldn't be quashed quite so easily, I was so ready to head home and now I'm looking forward to enjoying this weekend to it's fullest.
